Meet Em
My Husband & I have two small children + two small businesses.
I grew up in a rural town where the values of hard work and community were instilled in me from an early age. My grandparents both owned small business and my parents followed their lead.
Mum owned a café; Dad owned & operated a transport company.
This early exposure to small business shaped my understanding of the dedication and passion it takes to do it well.
After graduating high school, I moved to the Sunshine Coast.
I started working at a local dentist’s office. I began as a dental assistant, sterilisation nurse and then a receptionist and eventually
the practice owner’s personal assistant.
This experience again deepened my appreciation for the
small business community and the unique challenges we face.
My husband owns and operates a Colourbond fencing business
on the Sunshine Coast, which we began in 2018. So, like my parents & their parents, our hands are full + we love it!
The start
I started this business after realising the little bits and pieces I was doing for friends and family were actually making a massive impact for them. I saw how much weight I could lift off their shoulders, and I knew that by taking the leap into my own business, I could do that for even more people. My favourite moments are turning a messy brain dump into a game plan and then streamlined system. My brain loves the variety, tackling new projects every day and turning your chaos into clarity for all different types of businesses.
